In Memory of A Flight Crash in North Creake in World War II
Eighty years ago today Flying Officer John Mathias DFC and Flight Lt. Thomas Irwin were killed when their Mosquito Fighter crashed in North Creake as they were training for the D-Day landings. Once again the people of the village joined to remember them. We were honoured to be joined by Group Captain Wiggleworth, Station Commander of RAF Marham.
